COAS presides over Formation Commanders meeting in Rawalpindi
Pak-US ties and security threats to Pakistan discussed during meeting.

Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani presided over a meeting of the Formation Commanders at the military headquarters in Rawalpindi, Express 24/7 reported Thursday.
The meeting was held just hours before US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton’s arrival in Islamabad.
Pak-US ties and security threats to Pakistan were discussed in the meeting.
The Formation Commanders were also briefed about the resolution passed at the All Parties Conference.
An Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement said that the forum was given comprehensive briefings on the security environment and professional matters.
The participants expressed satisfaction over operational preparedness of the army.
