Football: Platini heard over Sion case

Michel Platini arrived yesterday at a Swiss regional prosecutor’s office.

RENENS:
Uefa chief Michel Platini arrived yesterday at a Swiss regional prosecutor’s office where he is to be heard by the prosecutor investigating a dispute between FC Sion and European football’s governing body. The Swiss football club has taken Uefa and Fifa to several regional courts in Switzerland after it was thrown out of the Europa League for fielding ineligible players. No charges have been made against Platini, but he is to answer as to how the league games are organised and the importance of regulation in sports.
