KESC defeated Pel 1-0 in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) in Quetta while Army crushed PMC Athletico 2-0 in Rawalpindi yesterday. After a dull first half, KESC’s Mohammad Khan broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute with the only goal of the match. Meanwhile, Mubashir Hussain’s brace of goals in the 24th and 44th minute of the game helped Army win their fixture. With the latest results, KESC leap-frog KPT to claim fourth spot in the league with 31 points while Pel linger at the bottom with seven points. Meanwhile, PMC Athletico occupy 15th position with seven points, while Army move up to 10th spot with 20 points.
