Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has announced a net profit of Rs1.4 billion during the first quarter of the current financial year along with a revenue growth of seven per cent over last year, according to a press release issued on Tuesday. “PTCL’s continued profits and growth in the first quarter is an indicator of our customers’ satisfaction and trust,” said PTCL CEO and President Walid Irshaid, following a meeting of the company’s board of directors, which announced the financial results. “PTCL remains committed to provide friendly and prompt services to all our customers.” PTCL’s group revenue rose 7% to Rs27.2 billion during the period under review.
