Caught: Arms dealer nabbed

KARACHI: The crime branch caught an arms dealer, Sher Akbar, for bringing heavy and sub-machine guns into the city. SSP Farooq Awan told The Express Tribune that the suspect was ready to sell the weapons which included rocket launchers and  shotguns to criminals and militants “for a good price.” Akbar allegedly smuggled the weapons from the northern areas in passenger coaches. However, he has no criminal record.
