Protest: Workers demand arrest of killers
Workers at a cardboard factory staged a demonstration demanding the early arrest of men who killed the factory owner.

Scores of workers at a cardboard factory staged a demonstration on Monday demanding the early arrest of men who killed the factory owner. According to the protesters, Rana Ejaz along with 25 accomplices attacked the Rizwan Packages office to occupy the factory and an adjacent plot situated within the industrial estate. The assailants also opened fire on Mohammad Rizwan who died on the spot, they alleged. Protesters, including Mian Tauseef, Mazhar Qadir and Rana Daood said that the police had registered a case but were not pursuing the investigation as the accused had strong political connections. They demanded that police arrest the accused as soon as possible.
