$100 million for setting up wind energy projects in Sindh

KARACHI: Korean company Hienergy Korea Canmore Co Limited will invest $100 million for setting up wind energy projects in Sindh, a press statement said on Monday. The 100-megawatt projects will be established at SITE Super Highway and Nooriabad after a no-objection certificate is issued by the government of Sindh. A delegation, headed by Hienergy Korea CEO Kim Jin Hou, met Provincial Commerce and Industries Minister Rauf Siddiqui at his Site office. Siddiqui said that this project would be very helpful in coping with the challenge of energy crisis in Sindh. He assured the delegation that the provincial government would provide them all facilities and land for the project.
