Post-18th Amendment: Health DG placed under CADD
Government placed the post of DG (Health) under the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD).

In a bid to reorganise the federal secretariat, the government has placed the post of Director-General (Health) under the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD). The notification issued by the Establishment Division on Monday said that the DG, Health, has been transferred along with the budget from the health ministry, which was devolved after the 18th Constitutional Amendment, to the newly created division. Dr Qazi Abdus Saboor, a BPS-21 officer has been transferred as DG (Health) in the CADD with restrospective effect of July 1, states the notification. Meanwhile, the ED has extended the contractual appointment of Khalid Malik, chairman, National Fertilizer Corporation (NFC), for two years from October 28. In another development, Pakistan Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) Secretary Waqar Ahmed, a BS-21 officer of Secretariat Group, has been transferred to Pakistan Science Foundation’s Scientific and Technology Research Division.
