Parliament vs media (II)
KARACHI:
I was shocked to read the full text of the resolution passed by the Punjab Assembly “against the Pakistani media”. I was surprised to find nothing in it that undermines the freedom of the media when I compare it to the amount of hue and cry the media has created against the Punjab Assembly. On TV shows all the big media icons are criticising the resolution without telling the audience its content. The media comprises people of higher intellect and education compared to politicians. They should not play this dirty game.
