Lawyers’ hospital: Gillani lays foundation stone

Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gillani on Sunday laid the foundation stone of Benazir Shaheed Lawyers’ Hospital.

LAHORE: Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gillani on Sunday laid the foundation stone of Benazir Shaheed Lawyers’ Hospital. He also announced a grant of Rs10 million to the Lahore Bar Association (LBA) and Rs20 million to the Lahore High Court Bar Association. Gillani ordered for constitution of a committee to estimate the expenditure on construction of the hospital. The LBA had earlier requested the prime minister for a grant of Rs1 billion. Gillani also announced a donation of Rs2.5 million for Advocate Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhary who is suffering from cancer.
