Unpaid salaries: LHWs protest in Hazara Division
Protesters announced to boycott coming polio vaccination drive if their unpaid salaries were not release by Oct 20.

Like other parts of country, the lady health workers (LHWs) from Hazara Division also held a protest, demanding their unpaid salaries for the past four months.
The protesters announced to boycott the coming polio vaccination drive if their unpaid salaries were not release by 20th of this month. The protests were held in Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram and Haripur, where the protesters carrying placards and banners inscribed with anti-government slogans marched on different roads.
They criticised the government for delaying their payments, due to which they were unable to make ends meet.
