Registering an FIR: ADJ central summons Gulberg SHO
SHO has been asked to explain why he gave the excuse that he needed permission of senior officers.
KARACHI:
Additional District and Sessions Judge Central Muhammad Azeem has summoned the SHO of Gulberg to appear before the court on October 19 in connection with an application moved under Section 22-A by minister for industries Rauf Siddiqui.
Siddiqui, of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, had filed a private complaint before the judge, alleging that the Gulberg police were not registering his FIR against a former home minister under section 295-C. Siddiqui’s lawyer is Amir Mansoob Qureshi.
The SHO has been asked to explain why he gave the excuse that he needed the permission of senior officers before registering such an FIR.
