4th day of protest against MPA
GHOTKI:
The protest against the alleged occupation of a school hostel by an MPA continued on its fourth day on Monday.
Residents of Ghotki, students of the school and members of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid, Pakistan Muslim League-Functional, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz, Sindh National Front and other parties gathered outside the sessions court to observe a token hunger strike.
The protesters also shouted slogans against MPA Ikramullah Dharejo, accusing him of taking over the hostel of Roshan Tara Model Higher Secondary School, land belonging to Cooperative Bank and a plot owned by the forest department.
Protestor Jamal Shah said that the MPA has also taken over other properties belonging to the government and individuals. He said that the MPA has produced fake documents and he used them to transfer ownership under the name of his men.
