Alternative Energy: Plan to encourage investment
Qamar said the draft of the alternative energy plan has been sent to Council of Common Interest (CCI) for approval.

Federal Minister for Water and Power Syed Naveed Qamar on Friday said the government has decided to introduce an alternative energy plan soon with an aim to encourage investment in the country. This was disclosed at 21st meeting of Alternative Energy Board here.
Qamar said the draft of the alternative energy plan has been sent to Council of Common Interest (CCI) for its approval. The Board was also informed that Alternative Energy Policy 2011 was prepared with the consultation of provincial governments and all stakeholders and suggested the advantages for investors.
