Police arrested 12-year-old Sabir on murder charges and took him to court seeking remand. The child’s father, Rafique Ahmed, claimed that the Baqrani police had kept Sabir in illegal custody. When the case was brought before the judicial magistrate, he expressed his anger at the police and rejected their request for remand.
