Four officers transferred, three retire
Retired from government service after attaining the age of superannuation.
ISLAMABAD:
Orders for the transfer of four bureaucrats were issued by the government recently and three other officials retired from government service after attaining the age of superannuation.
Mahmood Akhtar, a grade-21 officer of District Management Group was transferred to the Finance Division and posted as Chief Cost Accounts, whereas Abdul Rauf Khan, a grade-21 officer of District Management Group, who is presently awaiting posting at the Establishment Division, was transferred to Inter-Provincial Coordination Division and posted as Additional Secretary.
Similarly, Muhammad Umar Afridi, a grade-21 officer of District Management Group was transferred to Ombudsman Secretariat. Afridi is presently serving with the government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
Maqsood Ahmed, who is a grade-20 officer, was transferred to National School of Public Policy, Lahore. He will be further posted on deputation to NIM, Quetta.
Ahmed is presently posted as Professor in Department of Environment Management and Policy at the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Science (BUITEMS) Quetta.
Meanwhile, Abdul Qadir, who was working at the Establishment Division as Deputy Secretary has retired. Another grade-19 officer, Mumtaz Ahmed, who was serving at the National Institute of Management, Karachi also retired, said a government notification.
Junaid Iqbal Chaudhry, a grade-22 officer of Secretariat Group, presently posted as Secretary, Capital Administration and Development Division has also retired from government service.
