KARACHI: Italian investors are interested in investing in Pakistan’s economy, along with participating in the reconstruction efforts following the recent floods. This was stated by members of a delegation from Italy, comprising prominent businessmen, who visited the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry Head Office in Karachi, according to a press statement on Tuesday. The participants to the meeting identified areas of cooperation between Pakistan and Italy, including the capability of Italian companies to be involved in post-flood reconstruction efforts and investment in mining, furniture and automobiles sectors.
