Rescue 1122 rescues over 23,785 emergency victims in June

LAHORE: The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) rescued over 23,785 victims of emergencies while carrying out 23,405 rescue operations during the month of June in 24 cities across Punjab.

A Rescue 1122 spokesman told APP that the total number of emergency calls responded to were 23,405 in the month of June, which included 5,550 emergency calls in Lahore, 2,866 in Faisalabad, 898 in Rawalpindi, 1207 in Bahawalpur, 2,279 in Multan, 1134 in Dera Ghazi Khan, 836 in Rahim Yar Khan, 779 in Sahiwal, 913 in Sialkot, 1863 in Gujranwala, 412 in Murree, 814 in Sargodha, 423 in Jhang, 284 in Toba Tek Singh, 524 in Muzafargarh, 388 in Rajanpur, 226 in Mianwali, 421 in Pakpattan, 388 in Kasur, 227 in Gujrat, 299 in Bahawalnagar, 190 in Jhelum, 197 in Attock and 287 in Khanewal.
