Sindh cabinet: Zardari phones Pagara, says will address concerns
Zardari, Pir Pagara agree to 'work together for strengthening democracy'.
Amid growing tension between Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League – Functional (PML-F), President Asif Ali Zardari has phoned PML-F Chief Pir Pagara to cool off the situation, Express 24/7 reported Monday.
According to sources, Zardari, in his call, assured to address all of Pagara’s concerns.

Both the leaders have also agreed to work together for strengthening democracy in the country.
Earlier, Pagara had threatened to quit the coalition government if the portfolio of his party’s ministers were changed or reallocated to make way for Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) members.

Talking to the media after presiding over a meeting at Kingri House, Pir Pagara said that PML-F ministers would continue with their present assignments and his party would not ‘tolerate’ any negative tactics by the Pakistan Peoples Party-led government.
