Cricket: Malinga the hero yet again
Somerset batsmen were repeatedly deceived by Malinga’s yorkers.
Mumbai Indians registered a 10-run victory over Somerset for a place in the Champions League Twenty20 final against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. After Aiden Blizzard’s innings of 54 off 39 deliveries helped Mumbai post a competitive total of 160 runs batting first, Lasith Malinga stole the show with the ball yet again. The Sri Lankan’s four-wicket haul proved decisive as Somerset batsmen were repeatedly deceived by Malinga’s yorkers and subtle changes of pace, falling short of the 15 runs required in the final over to reach the target.
