Cargo train catches fire in Rahim Yar Khan

A train carrying chemicals caught fire at the Sadiqabad Train Station in Rahim Yar Khan on Saturday.

Several bogeys have been destroyed in the fire and the chemicals in the bogeys have also caught fire.

The local fire brigade failed to control the fire and Rescue 1122 officials have been dispatched from Rahim Yar Khan to Sadiqabad to deal with the situation.

The local administration and mosques made announcements, warning people to clear the area as the chemicals might explode.
