Twelve people were killed while six injured in firing on a Peshawar bound convoy in Afghanistan's Patkia province on Saturday.
Sources say unidentified people began indiscriminate firing at a passenger van in the Shehr Nau area of the province.
The injured have been moved to a hospital. The attackers escaped after the incident.
