Dengue fever: 220 cases confirmed in K-P

As many as 538 cases of dengue have been reported so far in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, out of which 220 cases have been confirmed, said an official at the health department.
He explained that 62 patients are still under treatment in various parts of the province, while five patients have been killed due to the fever in the province so far.
“Abbottabad has the highest number of cases, with as many as 51 confirmed patients, followed by Mansehra with 33 cases. Peshawar has 31 patients so far, while 28 confirmed cases have
been reported from Haripur,” he said, adding that 84 patients had travelled from Punjab.
