Doctors urged to improve their attitude

"Acceptance of doctors’ and paramedics demands was a living proof of the government’s commitment," K-P Health Minister

ABBOTABAD:

Doctors and paramedical staff should improve their attitude towards work and behave pleasantly with the patients. This was said by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Health Minister Zahir Ali Shah during a farewell ceremony held to honour the retiring professors of Ayub Teaching Hospital (ATH) and Ayub Medical College (AMC) on Friday.

The minister said that the provincial government has been utilising all its resources to provide better health facilities to people. The acceptance of doctors’ and paramedics’ demands was a living proof of the government’s commitment, he said.

“The provincial government has addressed the problems of medical staff. Now it is their turn to serve the nation in the best possible way,” said Shah.

The minister also distributed shields among the retiring professors.

Earlier, the minister attended the inauguration of an MRI room at ATH, built at a cost of Rs170 million.

K-P Special Health Secretary Noorul Amin and AMC Principal Dr Abdul Rasheed attended the ceremony.
