A woman was deprived jewellery in Civil Lines area on Thursday.
Aamir Sohail, a resident of Adiala Road, lodged a report with the police that a couple in Toyota Corolla snatched jewellery worth hundreds of thousands from his mother.
He said, the couple offered his mother a drop which she accepted and on their way, they snatched six gold bangles, three rings from his mother and fled while leaving her in a deserted place.
He alleged that his mother was waiting for a van near RPO office in Lal Kurti, when the woman approached her and offered a lift.
The driver of the car, who was waiting nearby reached the stop and the woman agreed to sit with the couple. On their way to Adiala Road the couple snatched the jewellery from the woman.
