China to give additional aid over the $4.7million aid already sent in the form of edibles and tents.

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Liu Jian in meeting with Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar on Friday told her that the Chinese government would be providing $5 million in cash to the flood-hit people in the country, Foreign Office said.
China has already donated $4.7 million for the flood victims while supplying an additional 7000 tents recently, Foreign Office statement said.
Khar appreciated China's timely assistance and this bears testimony to the time-tested friendship enjoyed by the two countries.
China was the first to announce assistance for flood-hit Pakistanis days before President Asif Ali Zardari launched international appeal for aid.
