Hitting back: ‘PML-N promoting politics of negativity’
Nawaz Sharif and Chaudhry Nisar are like the ‘dengue virus’ for the democratic process, says Awan.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said the PPP and its allies enjoy a majority in the National Assembly and the PML-N was unable to create problems for it.
She added that holding a sit-in protest outside the Parliament was against democratic norms. The minister said Nawaz Sharif and Chaudhry Nisar have turned out to be like the ‘dengue virus’ for the democratic process and were creating problems instead of solving problems. The minister alleged the PML-N leadership was delving in politics of negativity and confrontation, while the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), she added, was promoting politics of reconciliation.
