Police officials have arrested a court absconder carrying head money worth Rs1,000,0000. According to police officials, absconder Umar Sana alias Umari was involved in ten murder and robbery incidents and was wanted by Dhulay police for several other cases as well. City Police Officer (CPO) Ehsan Tufail said that Peoples Colony and Sabzi Mandi police had been searching for Umari for over six years. “The government had offered a Rs 1 million bounty for his arrest,” he said. The CPO said that the accused was also implicated in the abduction of the family of a station house officer (SHO) in Faisalabad. Police are investigating the whereabouts of his accomplices.
