Thwarted: Terrorism bid foiled, one injured

LANDI KOTAL: A member of the Bomb Disposal Squad was injured while responding to a terrorism bid in Landi Kotal on Thursday. According to political authorities, a bomb had been planted near the boundary wall of Landi Kotal Degree College. The squad, upon receiving information by the authorities, rushed to the school to dispose the bomb. However, the bomb exploded while they were taking it to Charwazai for defusal, due to which a member of the squad was injured. He was taken to Combined Military Hospital for treatment.
