Crime: Cash, jewellery looted
The burglary came to light after the daughter came to her house and found the locks of the house broken.

A house was burgled in the Airport area on Wednesday. Faqeer Muhammad, a resident of Yousaf Colony near Chaklala Scheme-III, lodged a complaint with Gulraiz Police post that he and his family had gone to see one of his relatives in Attock, when some thieves entered his house and made away with cash and jewellery worth Rs1 million.
The burglary came to light after the daughter of Faqeer Muhammad came to her house and found the locks of the house broken. She said, “I was shocked to see the doors to my father’s house was broken and the rooms were in a mess.”
Upon receiving a call from his daughter, Faqeer Muhammad rushed back to his house and found cash and jewellery including six bangles of gold, rings and necklaces were missing.
