Football: Ferguson demands Anfield improvement
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson wants his side to improve.
MANCHESTER:
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson wants his side to improve on their recent bad run of results at Anfield when the English champions face off against Liverpool next week. United have lost their last three games against their bitter rivals at Anfield. Ferguson admitted his side have not enjoyed the best of results at Merseyside and wants to change that. “We’ve been poor there of late,” he said. “At times we’ve been outfought. Anfield’s a tough place to go. It’s always like it’s the biggest game of the century. We need to be better than we have been and this team can do that.”
