Mohammad Illyas has been promoted as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief selector.

Member of national selection committee Mohammad Illyas has been promoted as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief selector temporarily to replace Mohsin Khan. Illyas will finalise the limited-overs squads for the series against Sri Lanka because Mohsin, the regular chief selector, will be serving as interim coach on the tour.
