Commercialisation: LHC wants to see new LDA policy

LHC directed the LDA to present the court its new commercialisation policy by the second week of November.

LAHORE:

The Lahore High Court on Tuesday directed the Lahore Development Authority to present the court its new commercialisation policy by the second week of November. Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed issued the order on a petition moved by the Watan Party through Barrister Zafarullah Khan contending that the new policy would benefit big business but harm small businesses and the general public. He asked the court to set aside the new policy and restore the old one.
