Preparedness: Rescue 1122 to open in Mardan
They saved lives of 507 people in road accidents, 323 during firing incidents, medical treatment to 1100 persons.
ISLAMABAD:
The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government will open a Rescue 1122 centre in Mardan next month. Director General Rescue 1122 Zakir Hussain Afridi has said that after the good performance of the service in Peshawar during the last year, five more centres will be established in Mardan next month. The service has helped save the lives of 507 people in road accident, 323 during firing incidents in addition to providing medical treatment to 1,100 persons in emergencies. The department’s officials have expressed promptness to continue improving their services in the future, Afridi said.
