Bilateral Ties: Zardari meets UK envoy
President Zardari terms Enhanced Strategic Dialogue between the two countries a milestone in bilateral relations.

President Asif Ali Zardari has said that Pakistan has been paying the heaviest price in the war against terrorism and it is determined to pursue the struggle till its logical conclusion.
“Our sacrifices exceed any other nation and Pakistan deserves and expects recognition by the international community,” he said. He made these remarks at a meeting with shadow Foreign Secretary of the UK Douglas Alexander here at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
Briefing the media about the meeting, presidential spokesperson Farhatullah Babar said that the Pak-UK Enhanced Strategic Dialogue, war against militants, recent floods, UK assistance and the regional situation was discussed during the meeting.
