Report on Benazir will not be changed

Despite Pakistan’s reservations, the UN will not make any changes to the inquiry report into the assassination of Benazir.

Despite Pakistan’s reservations, the United Nations (UN) will not make any changes to the inquiry report into the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

A spokesman of the UN said on Thursday that the report of the UN Commission will be given the shape of a legal document, adding that Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has full confidence in the team that undertook the probe.

The spokesman also said the UN would give a reply to Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s letter.
