Under water again: Man-made breaches flood hospitals
The intensive care unit, operation theatre, female ward were flooded.
SHAHDADPUR:
Almost all of the tehsil headquarter hospitals of Shahdadpur in Sanghar district have been flooded with four feet of water since Saturday night.
The intensive care unit, operation theatre, female ward were flooded when some people made a cut in the protective embankment which had been built to save the town. Although the breach was plugged on Sunday under the supervision of provincial ministers, Abdul Salam Thaheem and Muzaffar Ali Shujrah, rainwater had already flooded a vast area. “We have had to make all the arrangements to drain the water,” said its medical superintendent Dr Marium Majeed.
