Intending pilgrims: First Hajj flight from Karachi takes off
First PIA Hajj flight departs on Sunday from Karachi with 330 pilgrims.
KARACHI:
The first Pakistan International Airlines Hajj flight from Karachi this year departed from the airport on Sunday, with 330 intending pilgrims onboard.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah was present to give a send-off to the intending pilgrims. Director Hajj Karachi Abdul Sattar Samtio, Deputy Director General Civil Aviation Authority Muhammad Junaid Siddiqi, Director Airport Services Muhammad Hanif and other notables were also present on the occasion.
