BERLIN:
German league leaders Bayern Munich suffered a Champions League hangover when they were held to a goal-less draw at Hoffenheim. Having picked up their 10th consecutive victory with a 2-0 defeat of Manchester City on Tuesday, Bayern showed signs of fatigue away from home. Goal-keeper Manuel Neuer, though, was pleased to pick up his 11th clean sheet, and has now gone 1,018 minutes without conceding a goal to set a new club record. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund got back in the title race with a convincing 4-0 win over bottom-placed Augsburg.
