Mumbai Indians were left feeling hard done after their match against Cape Cobras in the Champions League Twenty20 was abandoned mid-way due to rain. Mumbai had succeeded in putting up an imposing total of 176 after impressive knocks from debutant Sarul Kanwar (45) and Kieron Pollard (58). But their fine show did not result in a win as both teams claimed a point each. Meanwhile, yesterday’s match between Somerset and South Australia also suffered a similar fate with the match being abandoned after persistent showers, albeit this time without a single ball being delivered.
