18th Amendment: HRCP commends ministries’ devolution

Secretary General, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan appreciated steps undertaken by the present government.

KHAIRPUR: Secretary General, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, I A Rehman appreciated steps undertaken by the present government on Friday, including  the 18th amendment through which it devolved human rights and other ministries to the provinces. “During the dictatorial regimes, human rights were violated at large level, however during democratic governments, the violation of human rights decreases,” he said speaking at a symposium on ‘Human Rights’.
