Malik seeks more time to brief on Karachi, Quetta security situation

The session has been postponed till Wednesday.

ISLAMABAD:
Interior Minister Rehman Malik asked for more time on Friday before briefing the special parliamentary committee on the law and order situation in Karachi and Quetta.

Malik conveyed this request to a special parliamentary committee set up on Karachi and Balochistan, and chaired by Syed Khursheed Shah.


The committee met in Islamabad where Malik was scheduled to brief its members on the law and order situation in Karachi.

Shah informed the committee that Malik has asked for more time before briefing on the matter.

The session has been postponed till Wednesday.
