Halal Food: Govt initiates work on industrial park
Chairman Zubair Motiwala said that the government has initiated the setting up of Halal Industrial Park near Karachi.

Sindh Board of Investment (SBOI) Chairman Zubair Motiwala said that the government has initiated the setting up of Halal Industrial Park near Karachi to promote manufacturing and processing of Halal foods and other goods for domestic consumption and export. National Industrial Parks Company Limited will develop it over a vast area near Ghaghar Phatak at National Highway towards Thatta, he told newsmen on Friday on the sideline of Halal Conferencing & Business Matching-2011 here. Halal Park will exclusively be for Halal industries. Entire chain of facilities, including Halal Certification, would be provided under one roof, he added. Initially, 200 acres land will be developed and later expanded over a thousand acres.
