Hamesh Khan’s remand extended
An accountability court handed over Hamesh Khan to officials from the NAB for a 14-day physical remand.
LAHORE:
An accountability court on Wednesday handed over Hamesh Khan to officials from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for a 14-day physical remand.
NAB officials requested the court to extend his remand as new investigation officers had been appointed to the case and they needed more time to complete the investigation.
Khan’s lawyer, Mehmood A Sheikh, objected to the extension of Khan’s physical remand and said that investigation agencies have not yet been able to prove anything against his client.
