Muqam: PTI will have to account for graft in K-P
.

Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Ameer Muqam on Sunday accused the PTI of corruption and misgovernance during its 13-year rule in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, vowing to hold the party accountable for its alleged wrongdoing.
"Peace, development and resources will now be delivered to the people at their doorsteps," he said while addressing a public gathering in Batkhela, Malakand district on Sunday.
The PML-N organised a public gathering in Batkhela under the banner of "Youm-e-Nijat" to celebrate the end of PTI's 13-year incompetent, poor rule in K-P.
Addressing the participants, Muqam alleged that the PTI's tenure had been marked by corruption and said the party, which had deceived people in the name of change, would be held accountable for its 13 years of misgovernance and alleged corruption in the province.
He said PTI's departure would usher in an era of peace, development and prosperity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that public resources and development opportunities would now be directed towards the welfare of the people.
The minister alleged that the imposition of governor's rule and an emergency in the province could have been avoided had the PTI not facilitated terrorists.
He said the people had turned away from the PTI because the party had failed to protect them from terrorism.
He pledged to ensure peace, security, development and prosperity for the people of K-P.
