PML-N's Rafique urges further fuel relief

PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has commended the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik for ensuring an uninterrupted supply chain of petroleum despite an extremely difficult situation caused by the Gulf war.

"However, the public needs further relief," he added, stating that the US-Iran war has pushed the entire world into inflation, and the people of Pakistan have also been affected.

In a post on X, he said it had become a painful tradition in the country to impose new taxes on the public to meet government expenditures and repay debts.
