Court remands 9 suspects to NCCIA custody
.

A judicial magistrate remanded nine key suspects arrested in the raid into the custody of the NCCIA for two days.
Judicial Magistrate East passed the order. The NCCIA IO informed the court that the dept had declared the call centre a sub-jail, allowing the 273 arrested individuals to remain in custody at the premises.
He alleged that the suspects were involved in defrauding foreign nationals and sought physical remand of nine key suspects. He requested that the remaining detainees be sent to jail on judicial remand. Opposing the request, defence counsel informed the court that the detainees included more than 70 minors and over 80 women. The court granted two-day physical remand of nine suspects to the NCCIA and ordered the release of female suspects and those below the age of 18 on bail. The court directed that the remaining suspects be sent to jail on judicial remand.
