Bus crash: Nine killed in Chichawatni
Three people succumbed to their injuries and three more were reported to be in critical condition.
ISLAMABAD:
Nine people were killed and another 15 were injured when a passenger van fell into a ravine after it hit a tree at the National Highway by-pass at Chichawatni in the Sahiwal district, police said on Thursday. According to a private TV channel, the accident occurred after the driver of the vehicle lost control over it. The injured were shifted to the Chichawatni and Sahiwal hospital. Rescue teams and local residents reached the spot and assisted in shifting the injured to hospitals. Three people succumbed to their injuries and three more were reported to be in critical condition.
