Ethan Klein breaks silence after Hila’s affair allegations rock H3 Podcast

Ethan Klein has addressed the public backlash following allegations of infidelity made by his wife, Hila Klein, as the controversy threatens the future of the H3 Podcast.

In an Instagram Story on Friday, Ethan asked people to respect his family’s privacy and avoid contacting his relatives for comments about the situation.

“I know a lot of people are understandably looking for a comment from me, but I ask that you please respect my family’s privacy and do not contact them looking for me or asking for their comments,” he wrote. “They have nothing to do with this and share in your outrage and disappointment. Thank you.” 

The statement followed Hila’s public allegation that Ethan had been involved in an affair lasting more than six months. In an Instagram post on Thursday, she described feeling betrayed and said she had been given repeated lies about the situation. 

She also said she was trying to navigate separation, co-parenting and the emotional impact of the situation while focusing on herself and their three children.

The fallout has also affected the H3 Podcast. The show’s production team issued a statement expressing support for Hila and condemning Ethan’s alleged actions. The crew said its members had unanimously agreed not to continue working with Ethan involved or profit from his participation, although the podcast’s future remains uncertain.

Ethan and Hila met in 2007 and married in 2012. They built their online careers together and launched the H3 Podcast in 2016. The YouTube show currently has 2.5 million subscribers.

The couple have not publicly confirmed what will happen to the podcast as they navigate the fallout.
