H3 Podcast goes on indefinite hiatus after Hila Klein alleges Ethan Klein had an affair, prompting crew to cut ties

The H3 Podcast has gone on indefinite hiatus after Hila Klein accused her husband and co-host, Ethan Klein, of having an affair for more than six months.

The podcast’s production crew has also announced that it will no longer work with Ethan following the allegations.

Hila shared her statement on Instagram late Thursday, October 22, saying the couple had separated after months of alleged dishonesty. She described the situation as a painful betrayal and said she was focusing on her children while navigating separation and co-parenting.

According to Hila, she had raised concerns about her relationship but received dismissive responses. She said Ethan eventually admitted to an affair lasting more than six months, after initially describing the situation as a kiss and later as emotional cheating.

In response, the H3 Podcast team issued a statement on Instagram expressing support for Hila and condemning the alleged conduct. The crew said its members were shocked by the revelations and had unanimously decided not to continue working with Ethan or profit from the show with him involved.

The team added that it had not yet determined what the decision would mean for the podcast’s future. It also asked listeners to allow them time to process the situation, saying the crew members were supporting one another as they worked through the uncertainty.

Ethan and Hila Klein began creating online content together in 2011 through their H3H3 Productions YouTube channel. They launched the H3 Podcast in late 2016, building an audience through discussions and interviews. At the time of the report, the podcast’s YouTube channel had approximately 2.5 million subscribers.

Variety reported that it had contacted Ethan for comment. No response was included in its report.

The indefinite hiatus leaves the future of the long-running podcast uncertain as the couple’s separation and the crew’s decision reshape the show.
